(February 9, 2011) - Emerson Connor, former Red Bull Rookie, will be riding with the DUCSHOP on the new Ducati EVO 848 for the 2011 season. “We were able to obtain the 2nd fastest times during the Dunlop tire test in Daytona; this is very promising considering the EVO was not quite ready so we showed up with our non-EVO 848 from last season. DUCSHOP’s attention to detail and experience in racing Ducati’s is very extensive, and we are proud to be riding with them,” said Connor.

(March 12, 2011) - During the second Motorcycle Superstore SuperSport contest at Daytona LTD Yamaha’s David Gaviria narrowly defeated race 1 winner, Thomas Puerta, across the line by just 0.048 seconds. Meanwhile AntRacing.com’s James Rispoli earned third in the final laps of the contest, finishing well off the pace of the leader by more than 14 seconds.

(February 12, 2011) - Although it wasn't a Colombian one-two-three like yesterday, today's Supersport final was still dominated by the South American country with David Gaviria beating countryman and LTD teammate Tomas Puerta to the line by just .048 of a second. The third of the fast Colombians, Stefano Mesa, crashed out of the battle or the win on the final lap in the chicane.
