Emerson Connor #50 (former Red Bull Rookie) riding for the DUCSHOP in the AMA Pro SuperSport
class (contesting the East Coast Rounds on the Ducati 848 EVO) is looking forward to his 2nd East
Coast race of the season. Emerson finished in 4th place at the Daytona round and is looking forward
to putting his best foot (and wheel) forward at his next round at Barber Motorsports Park.
Emerson is very pleased to be working with the DUCSHOP. “Working with Mark Sutton (DUCSHOP) I
know my bike is as safe and as fast as it can be. I am thrilled to have a person with that experience
working with me. It allows me to focus on nothing else other than racing. I am going to get that bike
on the podium” Emerson said.

Emerson has switched up his training by leading it with cycling rather than his usual rock climbing.
Emerson said “I love rock climbing and continue to do it but I have found a new love, road cycling!”.
His father Scott said “Emerson has been working with Jeff Bayani and Adam Scott, both spectacular
racing coaches from Neworld Cycle on his cycle program. Emerson has been cycling 100’s of
kilometers per week rain or shine in addition has altered his entire diet. He was a conscious eater
before but now he is at a new level of healthy eating. He is determined to make the continuous
improvements that will allow him to be at his best while racing. His 14 year old sister Mackenzie also
has the cycling bug and often accompanies him with the Neworld Cycle Team”.

Emerson has also been working closely with Forrest Green of Wheeling Cycle Supply, the leading
distributor of the DFG brand. DFG has a technologically advanced line of cooling undergarments
Emerson has been testing and has found them to be more effective than any other brand he has
tried. “While you are on the bike the last thing you want to become is too fatigued or too hot. I have
the fatigue aspect covered with the cycling and rock climbing and now working with Wheeling Cycle
Supply and DFG I have the heat facet covered. If you are not wearing this gear you are simply going
to be hotter than you need to be” said Emerson.
